Section (2)(i)--definition of "non-public school"
Section (3)(c)--exemption of homeschooled students from compulsory attendance
Section (9)--general assurance that the the state of MS will not interfere with parents' right to homeschool, most notably:
this section shall never be construed so as to grant by implication or otherwise
any right or authority to any state agency or other entity to control manage
supervise provide for or affect the operation management program curriculum
admissions policy or discipline of any such school or home instruction program.

This is why school attendance officers in MS are not allowed to ask to see a list of resources or "approve" curricula choices of homeschool students.
